A Typical Day at Kittys Zone Day Care
Our routine may adjust slightly based on your dog’s needs, but this is what most days look like:
Morning
Morning (Drop-off & First Play Session)
Drop-off, quick check-in with you, then supervised playtime and socialisation in matched groups.
Midday
Midday (Rest & Quiet Time)
Dogs rest on beds or mats, with access to water and calm, low-stimulation time. Feeding if requested.
Afternoon
Afternoon (Second Play Session & Pick-Up)
Another round of play and enrichment, followed by wind-down time until you arrive for pick-up.
Puppies and senior dogs may need longer rest periods — we adjust their routine individually.

Temperament Assessment
Before joining full group play, we observe your dog’s behaviour around other dogs and people. This helps us decide:
- Which group (size/energy) is suitable
- How much play vs rest they need
- Whether individual time is safer
Safety Rules
- Only friendly, non-aggressive dogs are allowed in group play.
- Dogs with contagious illnesses are not accepted until cleared by a vet.
- If a dog shows signs of aggression or extreme stress, we may separate them and contact you.
- We don’t allow rough or unsafe play to continue unchecked.
Hygiene, Facility & Play AreasClean, Comfortable Play Areas
Our day care rooms are cleaned regularly, with non-slip flooring, toys selected for safety, and climate control to keep dogs comfortable. Fresh water is always available, and we rotate toys to keep things interesting without overwhelming the dogs.

1.Day care is best for friendly, social dogs without serious aggression or severe anxiety. We assess each dog individually and may recommend limited or no group play if needed.
For safety and to avoid unwanted behaviours, we may have restrictions on unneutered adult dogs. Please mention this in your booking form so we can advise you._
We recommend that all dogs are up to date with core vaccines as advised by your vet. If you’re unsure, please check with your vet before starting day care.
Yes, if your dog stays for a full day, we can feed them at the time you specify — just bring their regular food, labelled with their name and instructions.
We closely supervise play. If we see signs of aggression or extreme stress, we may separate your dog, give them more rest time, or call you to discuss options.
6.Yes, we actually recommend a trial half-day or day so we can see how your dog adapts.
Please contact the branch as early as possible. Additional late pick-up fees may apply depending on how long past the closing time your pick-up is.
